Why Do We Distrust Sunscreen?
Most people do not believe the SPF50 rating.

Unfortunately, most sunscreens on the market are water-based and our skin is waterproof, meaning that they need to be painted onto the skin and applied, per label instructions, at least every two hours – more often if you go into water – as they are susceptible to being brushed, sweated, or washed off the skin.
As the average person’s burn time is around 10 minutes, an SPF50 should last for approximately 8 hours and an SPF15 for 2 hours.
Our SPF50 sunscreen is plant oil-based so it is absorbed into the first two layers of the skin which means that it will not brush, sweat, or wash off the skin, thereby making it a once-per-day application product for most people; hence our trading name: One24. Furthermore, our sunscreen is broad spectrum, meaning it gives protection against both UVA and UVB sunrays.
Most people hate having to apply sunscreen in large quantities (paint onto the skin) as they believe that it contains harmful chemicals.
As all water-based sunscreens need to be painted onto the skin they will block the skin’s pores and contaminate the environment as they contain nanoparticles. They are the main cause of blocked swimming and spa pool filters and can even contaminate coral reefs.
Our plant-oil based sunscreen is:
- Applied sparingly – a little goes a long way.
- Absorbed into the first two layers of the skin, meaning it will not wash, sweat, or erode off the skin’s surface, so there are no residues to contaminate the environment or block your swimming or spa pool filters.
